Who is CinCity Media?

Cindy CesareCinCity Media was started by award-winning broadcast producer/reporter Cindy Cesare. She has spent more than two decades in the television industry and decided to start CinCity Media after realizing that company owners and friends needed help navigating the confusing video production business. CinCity Media has evolved to address the growing need for video during conventions: projects ranging from booth marketing to customer testimonials for the website and everything in between. And CinCity Media has also become the trusted source for national broadcast outlets and organizations like CBS News/48 Hours, Showtime Sports and the ACLU.

The need for a top-notch Las Vegas production company became apparent while Cindy was working at KLAS-TV, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. She noticed that production companies from outside Las Vegas were frequently shooting video in the city, but didn’t know how to navigate through the players, politics, or streets of Sin City. This became most apparent while covering the crime and court beat in Las Vegas. Cindy has also covered topics as varied as education, business, politics and gaming.

Her work was not without recognition by her peers and the industry. Her most recent projects with CBS News/48 Hours has resulted in the 2017 New York Press Club Award for Special Event Reporting and for “Dallas, Bringing a Nation Together.” A 2015 Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a News Magazine” for the “48 Hours Special Report: Paris under Attack.” A 2010 Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News story in a news Magazine show” for the “Craigslist Killer Case: Classified for Murder.” Cindy also received an Emmy Nomination in 2002 for “Live Reporting.”

In 2003, she received another Emmy Nomination for a “News Feature” story profiling a Pig Farm in Las Vegas. In 2001, she received an Electronic Media Award nomination for “Best TV Serious Feature,” which resulted in the arrest and guilty plea of the suspect profiled in the story. She has also been profiled as an expert on the Larry King Show after covering the high-profile Ted Binion Murder trial in Las Vegas.

Cindy has a B.A. in Communications from The American University in Washington, D.C. She majored in Broadcast Journalism and has a minor in International Relations. And thanks to a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cindy also speaks Spanish.
